San Francisco Italian Heritage Parade
Imagine this – you’re sitting at a shaded sidewalk café in one of the most beautiful cities in the world – it’s a lovely Indian summer afternoon - you’re enjoying antipasto, vino, good friends and family. All of a sudden you hear music coming up the street – you find out that you have a front row seat for the 142nd annual Italian Heritage Parade from Fisherman’s Wharf up through world-famous North Beach.
As Claudia Albano, a parade spectator explains, “there are parades and then there are Italian Parades! At San Francisco’s Italian Heritage Parade, where else can you get a front row sidewalk table from which to sit and enjoy some delicious food while you watch the parade as it passes right in front of you!” Cathe Cornellio, Parade Captain of the Piemontesi nel Mondo’s prize winning entry- Discover a new world of electric vehicles - organized autos, bikes, motorcycles, scooters, all electric, in the most cheered and talked about parade group!
