Piemontesi nel Mondo of Northern California to hold “Cusaterra nella Vinaccia”

The Piemontesi nel Mondo of Northern California will hold “Cusaterra nella Vinaccia”, the Canavesan celebration of Zucchini, on Saturday, October 2, at Viano Winery & Vineyard, 150 Morello Rd., Martinez, CA. Wine presentation and social will take place at 1:00 p.m., followed by the picnic. (The picnic area is graveled, it is suggested to wear stable footwear.)

The menu will include fresh Italian cold meats, cotechino, squash-flower frittata, insalata russa, antipasto Piemontese, and other tasty tidbits. The cost is $20 for members and their spouses and $25 for non-members (includes souvenir glass).
