Italian community services' casino night
Italian Community Services has been working for nearly a century to help those in our community who need assistance to live healthy, independent lives.
Through the John C. Riccio Educational Grant Program, we also strive to preserve the unique language and culture that has served us so well at a time when everyday living doesn’t necessar- ily reinforce such traditions and values. And though times like this, require the same degree of diligence and sacrifice as so many worthwhile goals, we can also---occasionally----enjoy just plain fun.
To this end, we hope you will consider joining us as a sponsor and as a participant along with many ICS supporters on Saturday, March 10, 2012 at our first ever Casino night which helps support the John C. Riccio Educational Grant Program. As a sponsor we are asking you consider sponsoring a Blackjack Table for $100.00 or a Craps or Roulette Table for $250.00.
We are also doing outreach for winner and raffle prizes, so we would welcome any donations of certificates for dinner for two, weekend stays, and of course, fine wine. The price for individual participants is $75.00. Remember, you will be helping sustain vital community services.
Festivities will begin at 6:00 p.m. at the San Francisco Athletic Club, 1630 Stockton Street, San Francisco, and in addition to food and drink worthy of one of the world’s great Italian communities, you can expect to enjoy games of chance as exciting and, perhaps, as lucky as any you would find in Monte Carlo or Las Vegas. You’ll also be extending your support for the John C. Riccio Educational Grant Program for the Promotion of the Italian Language and Culture and help ICS make a difference to so many young people. In 2011 five schools with Italian programs were given grants.
