La Dolce Vita Italian Festival! Italy is coming to Laguna Niguel

In 1960 it was a movie. In 2011 it's a Community Festival of Italian Comfort Food, Music, games, Celebrities and those... “oh so good”! desserts like mama used to make. This Family Event starts on Friday night at 5pm and continues Saturday from 10am to 10pm.

The night performances become “La Dolce Vita” with the entertainment. Two Beautiful Romantic Evenings of great Music, Dancing and italian Concerts while sipping wine, having a night time repast and socializing with your family, friends and neighbors. You can watch the italians play and learn their card game of “Briscola”. Watch the enthu- siasts play and teach the game of “Bocce Ball”.

There's nothing like the Community Italian Festival in Laguna Niguel, California on September 30th, October 1st, 2011. The seasonal and ripe wine grapes are harvested in september and while the little old italians are pressing their grapes to make their own personal, home-made wine the young maidens 18 to 22 will be stomping grapes while the music plays the wine song and they compete for the special prizes. More sipping of italian wines and Cordials while listening to the concerts and tasting the Biscotti, Cannoli, amarretto cookies, gelato, Cheese Cake, Zeppole and Rum BaBa Desserts from the best Italian Bakers in all of California.

If you close your eyes and then open them quickly while looking to the stars you just might see a gondola weaving it's way along the canals of Venice while Andrea Boccelli serenades you.
