David Donnini Sworn in as 1st National Vice President at UNICO National’s 88th Annual Convention

Mr. David M. Donnini of Redondo Beach, CA was sworn in as UNICO National 1st Vice President for the 2010 – 2011 fiscal year by outgoing President Andrè DiMino of Woodcliff Lake, New Jersey.

The Convention was held at the Hershey Lodge in Hershey, PA. David M. Donnini joined the Wilkes-Barre, PA Chapter of UNICO National in 2001. He held numerous offices and was active in committee work within the chapter including the treasurer and 1st vice president.

In 2005 he relocated to Redondo Beach and joined the West Los Angeles Chapter of Unico National. He became president in 2006 and also started the annual Italian Festival and Bocce Ball tournament in Hawthorne, CA. As Deputy District Governor from 2007 – 2008 he oversaw the activities of four chapters.

He is currently planning a Jimmy V Cancer Research Bocce Ball Tournament to be held in Hawthorne, CA in November. A businessman, Mr. Donnini owned and operated Donnini David Donnini Entertainment, owned & operated tanning salons in Pennsylvania, and is currently a Realtor in Redondo Beach with RE/MAX Execs.

UNICO, which means unique or one of a kind in Italian, was founded in Waterbury, Connecticut by Dr. Anthony P. Vastola in 1922. Members work to support charitable, educational, scientific and literary projects while promoting Italian heritage and combating negative stereotyping.
